Veranta Treasures & Trades: how fills and boosts are counted

The 100,000 USDC competition uses five weekly arenas. A position can generate separate opening and closing scores, and temporary boosts apply at execution.

Five weekly arenas, with a fresh pool each Monday

Treasures & Trades runs from 21 September to 26 October 2026, with weekly boundaries at 17:00 UTC on Mondays. The 28 September update confirms Week 2’s 15,000 USDC pool and announces Week 1 claims.

The useful comparison is therefore the current arena and its leaderboard. A screenshot from the previous week reflects a different prize pool and measurement period.

Opening and closing are distinct scoring events

An open contributes volume; a close contributes volume again and realized PnL. TWAP slices are separate fills.

For a hypothetical $10,000 entry followed by a $4,000 partial close, the executed turnover is $14,000, while only the closed portion contributes realized PnL at that point. The remaining position has not become a completed trade merely because some exposure was reduced.

A boost belongs to the fill, not the position

Each execution is checked against the boost window. An entry during a boost does not carry that boost to an exit after it ends. If a TWAP spans the boundary, its slices can fall under different conditions.

This distinction helps explain differences between a position-level view and the competition score. Consult the execution timestamps and applicable window before treating a different displayed total as an error.
