What this version stores
If you submit a contact message or correction, we store the message, the referenced page and any email you choose to provide. If email delivery is configured, a subscription stores your email, consent time, selected topics and confirmation status.
Email preferences
Subscriptions require confirmation by email. You can unsubscribe through a signed link without signing in. Unconfirmed tokens expire. Suppressed or unsubscribed recipients must not receive a digest.
Device storage
The site stores your theme preference and remembers your analytics choice on your device for up to 180 days. Authentication uses an essential session cookie for the editor. Hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data to serve and protect the website.
Optional analytics
When enabled and only if you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica measure visits to public pages and referral sources. Their services receive technical connection and browser data and may store analytics cookies. We send page addresses without query strings or fragments; contact fields, search terms, subscription links and editor pages are excluded. Advertising features, automatic form tracking and session recordings are disabled.
Your choice
Declining analytics leaves the website available. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer whenever analytics is enabled. Withdrawing consent stops measurement, clears analytics cookies accessible to this site and reloads the page to unload the trackers. It does not automatically erase data the providers already received.
Requests and retention
Use the Contact page for a privacy request. Optional analytics is processed by Google and Yandex under their respective privacy policies and the retention settings of our analytics accounts. No visitor email or contact message is sent to an AI service by this application.
