What it does
Hyperliquid is a layer-one blockchain with trading built into its execution system. HyperCore runs spot and perpetual futures orderbooks, recording orders, cancellations, trades and liquidations onchain. The network uses its own HyperBFT consensus mechanism.
HyperEVM adds an Ethereum-style environment for general-purpose smart contracts. Developers can build applications around the liquidity and financial primitives exposed by HyperCore, connecting the exchange functions with a broader application ecosystem.
Where it stands out
