What it does
Extended is a perpetuals exchange with markets covering crypto, equities, foreign exchange, commodities and indices. It uses USDC as base collateral and settles transactions on Starknet, where smart contracts perform transaction validation and parts of the risk logic.
The Community Vault accepts USDC and issues XVS, which the overview describes as usable collateral. Extended also outlines a future unified-margin system spanning spot, lending and perpetuals; its documentation still places cross-asset collateral in development.
