What it does
Lighter on Robinhood Chain shares the Lighter protocol family with Core, but runs independent contracts, sequencing, blockspace and liquidity. An account balance or open position on Core should therefore not be treated as automatically available here. The separate domain and API are part of that distinction.
For research and farming, the deployment matters as much as the brand. The Robinhood Chain points rules belong to this instance, not to every Lighter trade. Likewise, a feature described for the full web application may differ from what Robinhood Wallet exposes. Compare the actual interface, market and account settings before following a strategy written for another Lighter venue.
Which network does Lighter on Robinhood Chain use?
This instance runs on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 built with Arbitrum infrastructure. Its separate contracts and sequencer distinguish it from Lighter Core’s Ethereum-anchored rollup. USDG deposits used in the Wallet flow reach the Lighter relayer contract on Robinhood Chain.
Where it stands out
- A dedicated web interface and API identify the deployment explicitly, making it easier to separate its positions and liquidity from Lighter Core.
- Robinhood Wallet provides an integrated route into perpetual trading, while the protocol remains a separate noncustodial trading system.
- Published campaign terms make the Robinhood Chain points program identifiable and reviewable rather than an assumed continuation of an older Core season.
What you can do
- 01USDG is the base collateral. In Unified Trading Account mode, the published table also lists eligible SPY and USO stock-token collateral, with limits and valuation haircuts.
- 02Robinhood Wallet’s documented flow uses isolated margin and supports market and limit orders. Closing a position and withdrawing its funds are separate actions.
- 03Points are credited through real-time activity and additional weekly distributions. The launch announcement describes 2× points through Robinhood Wallet and 1× through the web app, subject to program rules.
Who’s behind it
Lighter supplies the trading protocol and deployment; Robinhood supplies its chain infrastructure and Wallet integration. Lighter’s general interface terms name Elliot Technologies, Inc. The integration should not be described as the same product as a conventional Robinhood brokerage account, or as a separate startup with its own verified financing round.
Funding and investors
Robinhood announced the integration and an 11 million LIT community reward allocation in July 2026. That is a token-denominated incentive pool, not an $11 million investment round. Lighter’s corporate financing belongs to the wider company; no separate financing round for this deployment was verified.

Referral benefits and conditions
No deployment-specific registration bonus for following a referral link was confirmed. The advertised Wallet points multiplier is an interface-specific campaign benefit, not a referral reward.
Do not assume the general Lighter Premium referral trial applies to this instance. A future ArbuzDAO link needs its own eligibility and benefit check. Regional exclusions, authentic-activity requirements and retrospective campaign review remain applicable.

Fees & availability
Fees and costs
Confirm the fee tier shown by this instance and any Wallet order preview. Lighter’s general schedule lists zero maker and taker charges for Standard accounts and paid Premium tiers, but that alone does not establish the complete cost of a particular Wallet trade. Funding, spread, slippage and liquidation charges can still apply.

Eligibility and availability
The deployment’s published restricted-region list includes the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, China, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland and UAE, among others. Points can be removed after eligibility review; wash trading, self-trading, commonly controlled accounts and artificial scoring activity are excluded.
